Eternally-4U, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who participated in our outreach program. Your commitment and passion for serving the Atlanta community make a significant difference in the lives of those who are struggling. It was an incredible honor to collaborate with such caring individuals, as together, we provided vital resources to assist the men and women facing tough circumstances.

Our recent outreach highlighted the pressing issues that many Americans encounter today. The rising rent prices and food costs are financial strains that affect countless families living paycheck to paycheck. During our time together, I had the opportunity to speak with a man who has three beautiful daughters. His story was both heartbreaking and eye-opening. He shared with me that his family is currently living in a tent because there were no available spaces in the shelters we had previously provided information about. This conversation brought to light the harsh reality that many face: homelessness is not always about living on the streets. For some, it means having no stable address, living on a friend’s couch, or residing in an apartment without their name on the lease. To them, these situations reflect a form of homelessness that often goes unrecognized.

Again, thank you, family, for your continued faithfulness to the men and women at Hurt Park; you are truly God’s handiwork. Together, let us continue to uplift those in need

and always give glory to God for the strength to serve. Amen.

YBIC,

Whit
