Cool Breeze and Warm Smiles

What a beautiful day it was in downtown Atlanta. A cool breeze moved through the streets as warm smiles welcomed everyone who attended “Beauty for Ashes,” a community outreach event hosted through the collaboration of Eternally-4U and Big Bethel Church.
Our friends enjoyed nourishing meals, fresh clothing, showers, laundry services, and professional haircuts. Live music added joy to the atmosphere, but the greatest gift was the sense of dignity they felt, knowing they were seen and loved.
I thank everyone who participated today with their time, donations, and prayers. Most of all, I thank God for allowing us to serve His people and for reminding us that compassion becomes most powerful when it is put into action.
