A Glorious Day at Hurt Park

What an awesome day of outreach at Hurt Park, where we came together to serve our community friends with much-needed resources, aimed at helping them transition into the next phase of their lives. We had several organizations dedicated to uplifting our community. Eternally-4U collaborated with Byas-Smith Medical Group, which offered free haircuts and wellness checks (blood pressure and screening for diabetes). In addition, members of Women Resources, volunteers from the Angels of Divine Destiny Foundation, and members from Mountain West Church contributed their time and resources.

The range of immediate resources distributed at the event included essential toiletries such as toothpaste, toothbrushes, dental floss, Q-tips, soap, razors, washcloths, socks, and even sweet pastries. We also provided clothing—shoes, underwear, belts, toilet paper, food, water, and so much more. Thank you, family, for your love and compassion for people. You are amazing.

However,  we must recognize that none of what transpired today could have happened without divine intervention. We are grateful to God, the author and finisher of our faith, who guides our actions and inspires us to be vessels of hope and help.
